When water, pests or storm damage will not wait, the part you should not have to worry about is whether anyone picks up. Here is what this service commits to, and — just as plainly — what it does not.
The phone is answered around the clock
Any hour, any day: the line is answered. A burst pipe at 2am is the ordinary case for this trade, not the exception.
The connection costs you nothing
Using this service costs you nothing. No charge to call, none to be connected, and none for whatever quotes you collect. Only the work you hire is paid for, and you pay the contractor directly.
A credentialled contractor who works locally
The contractor on the other end is independent, carries the credentials New York requires for this work, and is based close enough to Schenectady to turn up. Ask what it holds and for proof of insurance on the first visit; that request is normal and welcome.
You can ask to be connected to someone else
Should the match go wrong, one more call puts you in touch with a different contractor. No fee, no form, no explanation needed beyond “that one did not work out”.
The honest limit of all of this
This service does not stand behind the work, and it would be dishonest to suggest otherwise. The contractors are independent businesses; the quality of the job, and any guarantee on it, come from the contractor you hire.
